About Steel and Mesh
Steel and Mesh is a New Zealand manufacturer of steel reinforcing mesh and reinforcing products, established in 2026.
We started Steel and Mesh with a simple aim: to give New Zealand's builders, concreters and specifiers a reinforcing supplier that's focused, dependable and easy to deal with. We manufacture here in New Zealand, keep our range practical, and back it with people who understand what happens on site.
What we do
We manufacture seismic and construction mesh, step thru mesh and reinforcing bar, and fabricate cut and bent reinforcing to schedule. We also supply the polythene and bar chairs that go with them, so you can get everything for your pour in one order.
From a single house slab to large commercial and civil projects, we supply trade and public customers right across New Zealand.

Reinforcing is the part of a building you never see again once the concrete goes in, so it has to be right. Our seismic mesh is manufactured to meet 500E requirements, and our products are made to the relevant New Zealand standards.
